Policy for the D Smiles Points Corner

By joining the D Smiles Points Corner, or by earning or using Smiles Points, you accept this policy in full.

1. Start date

1.1 The D Smiles Points Corner starts on 12 October 2026 and runs continuously from that day. It has no end date.

1.2 Points are earned only on purchases made from 12 October 2026 onwards.

1.3 Previous purchases, and existing customers' past orders, do not count. No points will be added for any order placed before 12 October 2026, on request or otherwise.

2. Earning points

2.1 Points are earned per single paid order, calculated on the amount paid after discounts and rewards, excluding delivery. Order value and Smiles Points:

€100 or more: 135 Smiles Points

€200 or more: 275 Smiles Points

€300 or more: 415 Smiles Points

€400 or more: 550 Smiles Points

€500 or more: 700 Smiles Points

€600 or more: 850 Smiles Points

€700 or more: 1,000 Smiles Points

€800 or more: 1,150 Smiles Points

€900 or more: 1,300 Smiles Points

€1,000 or more: 1,450 Smiles Points

2.2 Orders under €100 earn no points.

2.3 Each order is counted on its own. Only the highest tier reached by that order applies. Orders are never added together, and no spend is carried over to another order.

2.4 No order earns points above the €1,000 tier. An order above €1,000 earns 1,450 points and no more.

2.5 Splitting one purchase into several orders, or combining other people's purchases into one order, to reach a tier is not allowed.

3. Bonus points

3.1 Sign-up: 50 points, once per person.

3.2 Birthday: 25 points, once per calendar year. The birthday must be saved on the account before the month it falls in, and once set it cannot be changed.

3.3 First order: 20 points, once per person, when the first ever paid order is over €50 and is not refunded or returned.

3.4 Google review: 10 points for one genuine Google review of Pets R Us per customer, added manually after we check it. Fake, paid or copied reviews earn nothing.

3.5 Earn 50 points for every friend you introduce who signs up to Pets R Us. Points go to you once your friend creates their account. Your friend gets the usual 50 point welcome bonus. Each friend counts once, self referrals do not count, and referral points are capped at 2,000 per member.

4. Cap of 2,000 points

4.1 Customers cannot earn more than 2,000 points.

4.2 Once your balance reaches 2,000 points, earning is frozen until you redeem points.

4.3 Points that would take your balance above 2,000 are not added and are not saved for later.

5. Using points

5.1 Every 100 Smiles Points are worth €5 off.

5.2 Rewards: 100 points for €5 off an order of €50 or more; 250 points for €10 off an order over €100; 500 points for €20 off an order of €50 or more.

5.3 One reward per order. Rewards cannot be combined with any other coupon, discount code or promotion.

5.4 When a reward is used, the points are spent and your balance goes back to zero.

6. Returns, refunds and cancellations

6.1 Points from an order are added only after the order is delivered and the return period has ended.

6.2 If an order is refunded, cancelled or returned, in full or in part, its points and any first-order bonus are removed.

6.3 If those points were already spent, their value is deducted from the refund.

6.4 A reward used on a refunded order is not returned as points or cash.

7. Expiry

7.1 All points expire if no purchase is made for 12 months.

8. Fair use

8.1 One account per person and per household address. Duplicate, shared or fake accounts lose all points.

8.2 Trade, wholesale and resale purchases earn no points.

8.3 Points are personal. They have no cash value and cannot be sold, transferred, or exchanged for money or credit.

8.4 We may remove points earned through error, misuse or fraud, and close the account concerned.

9. Records and changes

9.1 Our records of points and orders are final.

9.2 Pets R Us Malta may change these rules, or close the programme, with 30 days' notice on this page. If it is ever closed, points not used by the closing date expire.
