Equisetum, commonly known as horsetail or scouring rush, is a striking architectural pond plant with tall, jointed, bamboo-like stems that create a dramatic vertical accent in and around water features. This large, mature specimen is ready to make an immediate impact in your pond or bog garden. Horsetail is incredibly resilient and thrives in shallow water or consistently wet soil at the pond's edge. Plant in a submerged basket at a depth of up to 10cm to contain its growth, as it can spread vigorously in open ground. Its elegant, minimalist form pairs beautifully with flowering marginals and water lilies.
